That is great to hear! I am on the brink of springing for a hammock, and a lot of the good hiking weather here is cool to damn cold at night. What did you use for insulation, pad, or whatnot?

What did you use for an underpad on this trip to keep warm?

Neo, Bring the wife camping?!?! And I was just beginning to like you! Kidding, just jealous I guess. My wife camps at the Marriott. Hmm, come to think of it, I go camping to get away from the Marriott among other things. :p

did she have another (small) pad for her feet? - if not I think I understand why her feet were cold

neo,

Good work. I still need to get a hammock for my girlfriend.

Is that pad sold at Wal-Mart as a camping pad or as something else? I've had good luck with Wal-Mart's green CCF pad. Wide enough and very cheap.
