We are making our meals for our mail drops and I was wondering what people thought about this book. How are the recipes? Are the ingredients easy to find? How does it compare to the Freezer Bag Cooking book? Is it worth the money?
I have it (what trail cookbook do I NOT own? :p )
It is a good book-but, if you want my 2 cents, check it out of the libary first and take a look and see if you like it. There are good recipes and weird recipes-some are easy to do, others will need cooking time. You might also take a look at "From pack to plate in 10 minutes" (or whatever it is called..it is a Backpacker publication). It has some decent recipes in it also.
And yes, my book, of course, is the best :D (Lol....I just had to say that ;)
