How crowded with Thru-Hikers will the section between NOC and Fontana Dam be 27 - 31 March? I was thinking about doing this section with my son during his Spring Break but don't want to get in a traffic jam on the trail or shelters.

Just as I thought. Will probably just do something close to Damascus instead. This was my original plan anyway.
