Purchased at Campmor for $18.99
and a replacement filter for $ 8.49
http://www.campmor.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=226&prrfnbr=7637980
and used on this weeks hike from Unicoi to Neals....
This product is pure joy to use,,,,think about it, you see a pond, a waterfall, a creek, water dripping down a rock face, a stream-whatever, just fill up the bottle, screw on the cap and squeeze while you suck the water out of the tip....no waiting to pump, no waiting for chemicals to work and no aftertaste.
On this past hike I used the bottle several times over the first 14 miles of the trip whenever I saw a water source that was close I would 'camel-up' via the filter bottle....at the end of the day I filled up my bladder and added the chemicals and allowed them to work...
It is light but I forgot what my scales read...I want to say 6 ounces but it wasnt more than 8........
