Sorry to be rude, but I am suddenly in need of a decent fairly lightweight sleeping bag. Has anyone seen a good deal online lately for a 15-20 degree bag? I don't need the lightest of the light, but I need something to keep my tail warm for four days. Any info would be greatly appreciated. -Mellow

ebay just had two Western Mountaineering Ultralites go by on the auction block. tis the season. i think one's sold by now, the other should be getting close if not gone already. i think they were both left zips and the 6'-6" size... as far a 'cheap', they are what they are... and therefore never cheap... but any time you can get one slightly used for 75% of retail, that's a good deal. i don't think i've ever seen them on sale when i needed one... but if you have time to mess with it, ebay rocks... (usually... there are some pretty shi!!y people out there.)

Sportsmans guide had a few, some even (near) ultralight. www.sportsmansguide.com is the website I think. I seem to remember one being under 2 Lbs, & sub $50.00 but only rated at around 40 deg.
