View Full Version : Any good sleeping bag sales lately?
Sorry to be rude, but I am suddenly in need of a decent fairly lightweight sleeping bag. Has anyone seen a good deal online lately for a 15-20 degree bag? I don't need the lightest of the light, but I need something to keep my tail warm for four days. Any info would be greatly appreciated. -Mellow
ebay just had two Western Mountaineering Ultralites go by on the auction block. tis the season. i think one's sold by now, the other should be getting close if not gone already. i think they were both left zips and the 6'-6" size... as far a 'cheap', they are what they are... and therefore never cheap... but any time you can get one slightly used for 75% of retail, that's a good deal. i don't think i've ever seen them on sale when i needed one... but if you have time to mess with it, ebay rocks... (usually... there are some pretty shi!!y people out there.)
Campsaver has montbell bags not on sale but with a free liner or warm-up sheet as they call them. Free shipping and no tax.

You guys are great! I really appreciate the leads, hopefully I'll get something today. Thanks so much, -mellow.
Sportsmans guide had a few, some even (near) ultralight. www.sportsmansguide.com is the website I think. I seem to remember one being under 2 Lbs, & sub $50.00 but only rated at around 40 deg.
