There are so many places to buy food (either markets or delis) that it probably won't be necessary to send yourself food. But if you need a place to send maps, gear, whatever, I suggest Unionville New York or Vernon, NJ.

Try Kent Ct, for a maildrop or resupply. It's roughly halfway between your section. They;ve got a well stocked grocery store and restraunts to tide you over.

I think Jack is mistaken recommending Unionville or Vernon as neither one is in the section you asked about. Maybe you've been away too long!

Train is correct.

Pawling or Kent would probably be best; Salisbury CT is also very close to the Trail.
