Parking at Neels Gap

I'm planning a short section hike, and getting off the AT at Neels Gap. Where is the best place to park there, how do I get there from Vogel State Park, and is there a fee? Thanks in advance,

Parking is available at the Byron Reese Parking Lot, a little ways north of Neels gap. From Vogel, go south on 19 (make a right leaving the park) and you will see the parkling lot on the right, well marked with a sign. if you get to Neels, you have gone too far. Its about 1 mile via a blue blazed trail from the parking lot to the AT.
