I'm planning a section from Erwin to Damascus and am interested learning about parking options in Erwin. The car will be parked for about 8 nights starting April 7th. Any advice is welcome.

Although she'd probably allow it, Miss Janet's doesn't have very much room for long term parking.

Check with the Holiday Inn Express, they do allow for section hiker parking and have plenty of room 423 723-4100

I have used Uncle Jonny's (http://www.unclejohnnys.net/) and Miss Janet's. Uncle Jonny's is at a trail crossing and Miss Janet is in town. My experience has been good with both. I had Jonny shuttel me south and I parked at the hostel for about a week and had Miss Janet take me north and I parked in her drive for 3 days.

im sure she'd allow it for a week, especially if he plans to stay there on the front end of his trip.
