Can anyone give me feedback on these two? I can get a great deal on the Primus. How does it stand up to the PR? Stability, easy of use, reliability etc. Thanks for the help.

I used the MSR PR for a little while. It's a great stove with good burner control but to me seemed a little flimsy with the pot supports. I tend to be harsh on gear. I switched over to the Snow Peak giga power stove that is sturdier. The Primus TT is twice as heavy, but that's good if you are looking for a beefier stove. They are all in the same price range. If you can get the Primus for a good deal, well then go for it. If weight is an issue, the MSR might be a better choice. If you haven't done so, read some reviews online and get an overall idea which one might be for you. It was Snow Peak for me and I read a lot of reviews.

I've got them both and used them both and like them both.

Hard to really distinguish them in terms of performance but for weight I'd go with the Pocket Rocket. The Primus, at least my model which is pretty old now, has a small fuel flow adjustment knob whereas the Pocket Rocket has the longer wire control. Easier to handle if things get a little hot at the base of the stove.
