I'm looking into buying the ULA P-2 pack for my section hike this year. Was curious if anyone out there has a good or bad review for me to consider.

THey are currently doing a review of the P-2. Im also looking to buy one. The past week has brought 3 out of 6 of the long term reports, and they have all been positive. Im waiting for the other 3 to come in...

I have a ULA Zenith that I'm just starting to use. I don't have enough miles with it loaded to write an informed review, but quality looks good. Brian Frankle (one of the ULA owners) was at the Gathering this year and seemed to be generating a lot of interest. I think Sly used a P2 on the CDT last summer. He contributes to the AT-L, PCT-L, and CDT-L, so you might try posting a message there, or finding his email address from the archives and emailing him directly.
I tried one on for the first time this past Saturday and was really impressed with the design and the fit as well as the options such as the front mesh pocket and the waistbelt pocket for storage.
I would like to be able to stuff my gear and give it a try. I, also, would like to hear some reviews from people who have hiked with it over a period of time.
A large number of thru-hikers leaving this Saturday are using it so maybe I can pick up some reviews while I'm hiking this weekend.
