hey all,

i'll be flying into dulles at the end of may, and i'm looking for a way out to thornton gap. i plan on just doing a small section of the trail for a bit of relaxation and enjoyment before i start my summer work up in charlottesville. if any of you know of ways to get out their please let me know. i've already tried a couple of the most logical AT shuttlers from the list that is provided by the Appalachian trail conservancy, but have had no luck.

thanks in advance for your help,

meg.

If finances are not a concern you can try AES Limousine Service (1-800-832-6561 EXT. 141). http://aeslimo.biz/index.html

They are based out of Winchester, VA. I use them on government reimbursed business trips between Harpers Ferry and Dulles. The cost has been $90 per trip. I would expect the rate would be similar since the mileage appears to be about equal in length.

If you use them you certainly will be the talk of the trailhead.
