View Full Version : Selling used gear at Trail Days?
Is used gear sold at Trail Days, and if so, is it formally organized or random? Is this something that needs to be put on the schedule in case people have gear to sell? Any advice on this would be welcomed.

a huge swap meet of gear....good way for people to get outfitted economically and with plenty (probably too man) pundits around.
I can't say that I've got anything worth selling, but I sure would be interested in picking up some used stuff.

A consignment type booth would probably work for an entreprenuer, since I can't imagine sitting around all weekend trying to sell a few things.
Thanks for the advice. Maybe next year. We'll contact one of the church groups and see if they want to set up a consignment booth for Trail Days 2007. Then they could collect donated items between now and then, plus accept consignment items. You could drop off your old Eureka Backcountry, set your price, plus add a small percentage for the church group. The time is too short this year to organize this and get the word out.

I am hoping to be able to get down to Trail days. I would love to pick some stuff up. still need a bunch of odds and ends and if I can get better gear that would be great. Have everything ready for the July 1 step off.
