I'm starting a NOBO flip-flop in Waynesboro next week, and my ride just backed out on me. Is there any relatively easy way to get to Waynesboro (or Rockfish Gap) without a car? Would I be able to get a shuttle to Rockfish Gap from Staunton or Charlottesville? Any help would be great, thanks!

My wife (BadAss Turtle) just did the opposite. After Trail Days I drove her up near Glasgow and she hiked into Waynesboro. At the visitors center (Rockfish Gap) she got a list of names of shuttlers. Made a few calls and got a ride over to Charlottesville. From Charlottesville she got a bus to the airport for her flght home.

Call the Visitor's Center at Rockfish Gap. I think you'll be able to get the ride you need.

What day? We live just north of Charlottesville. Do you need a ride from the bus station to Rockfish Gap? We are going out of town though late next week, so depends on the day if we can help at all.
