Hey guys:

I'm tentatively planning a 2 week hike from Springer to the NOC in Late March. I don't have 6 months to do the whole trail, but I figure I'll take the time I have and start chipping away at it from the bottom to the top. At least this way I can start with some of the thru hikers ..and maybe see them again at Damascus-stock...err...Trail Days.

Anyways...Is there a way to get from the NOC back to Gainesville, GA so I can get the AMTRAK back to Virginia? Anyone? Bueller?

:D :D :D :D

I think the only reason I remember him being from Gainesville, GA is that I thought it was odd that there was a Gainesville in FL & GA.

There's also one up here in VA!

Jeff and Nancy at The Hike Inn near Fontana Dam can help you. They are near NOC, and can shuttle you to or from Amicalola Falls State Park. Their contact info is online or in the Companion.
