WTB: Trangia Westwind Stove

I am looking to buy a used Trangia Westwind stove. I am mainly just looking to purchase the burner that comes with the lid for carrying and the flame adjuster. I'm not that worried about the stand, but I will take it if you want to include it with the burner.

I know you can buy these for about $25.00, but I would like to pick one up a little cheaper used if possible.

Just a suggestion ...assuming you are successful locating the Trangia burner, get yourself a spare O-ring. Sooner or later you'll accidentally put the threaded top on the burner when it is still warm/hot and fry the O-ring.

I have seen the stoves there and it's not a bad price. The only thing that worries me is that the list of what you get with the stove/burner is as follows:

WITH BURNER
FEATURES:
Burner with pack lid
Cook pot supports
Windscreen It does not say anything about the flame adjuster, which is one of the main features that promted me to buy this stove. It also has the option to buy with or without burner . The price without burner ia $12.00 and the price with the burner is $19.00 plus shipping. What do they mean with or without burner? It's the burner I'm trying to buy.

Also I have a bunch of DIY alcohol stoves as well as a Vargo and a Gigapower so I am not hurting for a stove at the moment.:)

I just thought someone here may have one they were wanting to sell in the $12-15 (including shipping) price range. If I can't get one here I will buy one later on down the road. Never hurts to ask.

The "Flame Adjuster" or "Simmer Ring" as it is called by Trangia, is part of the stove. There are 2 tops to the stove itself. One is threaded and contains the O-ring I mentioned above. On top of that is another brass top that slides on over the threaded top. It has a sliding plate that acts as the Flame Adjuster.

I've purchased from these folks before - they're OK. The trangia burner comes with screw on lid and simmer-ring (flamer adjuster). Everything you need.
