Wow holds up to 400 lbs in weight sounds heavy duty to me...and only 15 ounces???
Where as Byer is 16 ounces and holds up to 240 lbs???
Something is not quite right here...both out of nylon also
Maybe one company is over rating and one under rating their hammocks
Notice the round lines. Hardly 'tree huggers'.

Some how i think something is screwed up here
The straps look like flat webbing, "Tree Hugger" style, just longer so no support rope is needed. The weight rating proly comes from the webbings SWL rating as well, not the hammock body type. It looks like they are using a goosneck with a whipped end for the carabiner loop. I wonder where they got THAT idea? :-? With two rated carabiners I don't see how they can get those weights (total weight) either, seems kinda light. Or, they are using really short straps, which limits set up options.
