After you get a chance to try it out could you post a report about what conditions/temperature you used it in and what you thought? I would be interested in hearing, it's a piece of gear I've considered. Thanks.

Sure thing. May try it out this Labor day weekend. This thread really gave me much info: www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15703&highlight=sniveller

This weekend promises to be faily warm....Make sure you know when and how to "open the windows" if you are using your new No Sniveller as an under quilt.

Enjoy the Hanging!

I got one last winter. It is a really great piece of gear.

I'm a JRB fan. I have The Basic 3 Season Hammock Quilt Set which is the Nest for an underquilt and the No Sniveler for a top quilt, as well as the 8x8 tarp, self tensioning lines, and the gear hammock (a Just Jeff design). All very high quality, well thought out designs with loads of support from a couple of high integrity businessmen/backpackers. I've had them on section hikes this summer so can't speak to the cold weather experience yet, but as Pan points out you can open up the ends for more ventilation in hot weather. After a month of sleeping with this system, I can say the combination of my HH with the JRB accessories made for the most comfortable nights' rests I've had in many years!

Have you worn your no sniveller as a camp jacket?
