Anybody know?? 2Ply 04-23-2003, 11:39 I used Silnet from Campmor to seal mine, no problems so far:) http://www.campmor.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=88645&prmenbr=226 tlbj6142 04-23-2003, 13:19 Check out this (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1377) thread for a how-to. I think you can use normal Silicon based caulk (deluted with something??), but you'll end up way more sealer than you'll for 1000 bags. Here (http://www.sixmoondesigns.com/support/seam.asp) are the instructions for making your own sealer. Rambler 06-04-2003, 20:28 Just be sure the sealer you use is silicon based. Other type of sealer will bunch up, won't work, but can be removed with, of course, a special remover. The sealer can be found in the paint section of hardware stores, but you won't save that much, if anything, from Silnet at the camping stores. slabfoot 06-05-2003, 08:15 mix silicone caulk(clear)with naptha(or white gas) 1:1 ratio, ventillation and caution of course. gas evaporates, silicone seals. |
