Filter/treat or wash hands?

Scenario-

You are busted doing something really bad( like mooning the Cog railway passengers )and are sentenced to hike six months on the A. T.(not so bad, right?).

Stipulations-

You may choose to either:


A) Filter/treat your water or....

B) Wash/sanitize your hands as often as you like.


But not both.

Which option would you choose?

Had to go with the hands. My hands get exposed to more nasties (read poo simi-directly) than water does.
