Hi all, I'm going to be in Maryland over Thanksgiving weekend, and I was wondering where might be a good AT day hike in case my family has time and inclination for it. :sun

They live near where the AT crosses I-70. We definitely wouldn't want to drive far... probably just to the nearest trailhead with parking.

There is a trail head on 40 right by where the trial crosses 70. An out and back to Annopolis Rocks from there is always fun. Friday and Saturday are supposed to be mid 60's and gorgeous so go for it

Thanks for the tip! That does look like a nice hike. Now, if I can find family members who want to work off some turkey....
