View Full Version : FS Coated Rip-Stop Nylon

I have a bunch of uretane coated rip-stop nylon. It is lightweight about 2.2 oz per yard. I think it makes a better ground sheet than tyvek or silnylon because if you put the urethane side up you don't slid around as much.

I will sell it to Whiteblaze Members, up to 20 yards at $.50 a yard plus $6 shipping (ex: 10 yards would be $11). I sell chunks on ebay with a low starting bid but it would be hard for you to find it at $.50 a yard. I only do PayPal on ebay but for WBers I will work with you.

I am not trying to make a quick buck here, just share a resource. No need to go to Ebay, just send me a PM through Whiteblaze or email me at jim@jimsproul.com

HI
Just a quick question...how wide is it?
54" or 60" etc...

JimSproul

It is 62" wide, less selvedge so usable is about 60" or a little more.

What colors do you have? Hot pink and lavender are not my favorites! Cheers.

Now assuming the little green balls by our names mean someone is online, then Jim Sproul was just here, but before I could send a message, he left.

I also saw that he has posted a few times in the last few days.

These things lead me to beleive that he has probably gotten my two Private messages, and possibly my 2 emails ?

good grief, what gives here?
is this a WB buddy, buddy, cliche thing?

am I too new to get a deal hook up or what?

As far as I know, I have answered all PMs and emails. I have none that are "unread"

How much do you need? Do you have a PayPal account or do we need to work out another means of payment.

I just checked and I did NOT answer your PM. My mistake.

EVERYONE: There has been much more interest than I imagined. If you sent an email or PM and have not heard from me by FRIDAY, please try again.

Several people buying this fabric have mentioned building tarps. This link is to a tarp page with real good information. Make sure to look at the PDF file in the middle of the page.

Let me know if you don't get it today or tomorrow and I'll start another package headed in your direction.

Yep, I have been across that border many time. In fact I expect to go up to "my" section of the Ouchita Trail, near Queen Wilhelmena Lodge / Mena, this month. I owe them a trail report.

Hey Jim,

when you come up to Queen Wilhelmena Lodge maybe you would bring me 20yds of that fabric?

No luck, No brown trucks, no fedex, no DHL, and not even the USPS has brought me anything from you.

Is there a tracking number or something?

Please send me a PM or email, and lets verify the address, although my paypal address is correct.

thanks!

dang!

I have to say that my own history with the USPS has been less than stellar as well , they lost a VHS tape of my sons ultrasound/birth sent to my grandparents back in 1996, I paid $14 to send it over night or 2 day air, something...

it went to TN, then AL, then TX, then was never heard from again.

ozarkjeep @ pirate4x4.com if you need any more address info or anything from me.

Thanks Jim
