Hi,

I've been looking all over the Web for sil-nylon in that standard forest green color. From what I gather, it's very hard to find. I've looked at the sites recommended on other posts, but the color I want seems pretty elusive.

Also, I sure wish I could find Spectra core line like Trip-tease, but in solid black. I've looked pretty hard for that, too. I know I'm pretty boring with my color preferences, but I can't help it.

See, my sister doesn't know it yet, but she's going to make a tarp for me for my hammock.:D

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

black line is very hard to see and very easy to trip over. the fall may not be the problem but the fact that alot of lightweight gear attached to the line will tear.

OWFINC (http://www.owfinc.com/Fabrics/NylonWoven/Ripstop.asp#Nylon%20Ripstop:%20Coated) is much much cheaper.

Thank you Frolicking Dinosaurs! Emerald might be it. I'm ordering a swatch.

Yeah Jim, good point on tripping. I've been using Trip-tease for the lines that are prone to that on my existing setups. The black line would actually be for a couple other projects I'm messing around with, and cord seems to come in random colors when you order it.

And thanks, lvleph, I'll see if I can get a swatch or two from them, also. I'm new with shopping for fabric so I have to get a quick education!

I know OWFINC is cheaper, but I don't think they carry the forest green this poster wants.

Robert,

You can call Noah Lampert, I got samples last year of jade, kelly and forest green. Cost is $2.75 a yd but you have to order 10 yds min plus a $5 cutting fee.
