Does anyone know where the online companion went? ALDHA used to post the old versions in PDF format, but I can't find it. I know for a fact they had the 2005 version on their site at one point.

Thanks for the link. I looked all over the sight and couldn't find it.
I guess I should find a real copy in Hot Springs.
I once read that wingfoot's guide can be found electronically... is this the case and does anyone have a link? An older version is much better than nothing.

no need for wingfoot if you've got the aldha
All the same, both would be nice if it's available.

It's nice that the ALDHA Companion is on-line, tho it's pretty stupid from a business standpoint.
No author or organization is ever under any obligation to give away their publications for free. When people go into a bookstore, do they expect to make their reading choices and walk out without paying?
Of course they don't.
These snide attacks on Wingfoot are childish. If you want his book, then buy it. If you don't want to do this, then get your information elsewhere. But nobody is obligated to research and write books for nothing. It doesn't happen with novelists, biographers, historians, travel writers, or anyone else.
Why should Wingfoot be any different? If you think his book is worthwhile.....which it is.....then buy it. If not, well, learn to live without it.

You are an evil man. :D
there is an old excerp on Amazon from 2001 - not much content however - perhaps enough to get a flavor of the work - search for wingfoot and pick the GAME book to "look inside"
