Im going to rehike the Foothills trail on march 16-22 if anyone is intrested in joining me let me know.

LBHave a good hike. It's still on my list of HTD (Hikes To Do), right up there near the top, but I'll be on the Pinhoti trail at the time.

Have fun - I just did it last week, it was fantastic, had the whole trail to myself. If your hiking alone , camp out ontop of grassy knob (room for one tent) a mile or so west of whitewater falls-you'll get a great sunrise over the lakes.

Hey Little Bear, which end are you starting at? I may be out this weekend and the Foothills Trail is my favorite. I'm thinking about the Burrells Ford-Sloan Bridge-ForkMt Trail-Chatooga River Trail loop. Its a nice 18 mile one night walk.
