Made this one with the lid from a Target fragranced candle (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_6/601-7159711-8802527?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000FJ7RYI), a two inch diameter tealight tin from Publix (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18456&highlight=tealight), a standard size tealight tin, black plumber's cloth (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=11900&catid=favorites), and some white plumber's cloth that Zelph*(:banana )sent me.

It's similar in design to Sgt. Rock's Turbo V-8 stove. (http://hikinghq.net/sgt_stove/sgt_v8stove1.html)

Wicks installed (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15577&catid=favorites)

Ready for the lid (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15576&catid=favorites)

Finished stove (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15575&catid=favorites)

Test photo one (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15574&catid=favorites)

Test photo two (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15573&catid=favorites)

Boils two cups water using 15 ml denatured in a Heineken pot. Boil at ten minutes and flameout at twelve minutes. Weighs 7 grams.

Another nice thing about this stove?

It's easy to know how much fuel you're using without actually measuring. The inner chamber holds 15 ml. The fuel level slowly drops to the the half full point through small weep holes. If you want more than 15 ml, then top it off again to get 22.5 ml, etc. Holds 30 ml total.

* Thanks for the white plumber's cloth, Zelph!

That is a pretty stove there. Looks very nice. I was using an Ion this weekend made from one of those tea-lite candel things and it worked great. I wonder if one of them would last through an entire thru-hike?

Looks like this set up would benefit from some unobtanium stainless mesh. ;)

Sly, toying with the concept of going to Cloud 9 myself. Tell you what, I'll drive if you supply the adult beverages.

I'll have to let you know. I may be going on to Erwin and if I can take care of everything that needs to be done this week, I may not be coming back for 8 months! I'll have a better idea in two or three days.

The Turbo Tea-Lite is turning out to be quite an effecient flamethrower.

Here are some recent test results (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?p=356005&highlight=turbo+tea-lite#post356005)of the stove using Atraildreamer's effeciency doc.

If any of you stovebuilders have tried making one yourself, I'd love to hear what you think of it. :)
