Great pics, Neo. I will make it to one of these get togethers! Did I see an RV there??????? H-m-m-mmmmmmmm. What's that?
Meriwether Lewis National Monument and campground is on the Natchez Trace Parkway and (as I learned) is a PRIME stop for Canadian "snow birds." For one thing, it's free, not to mention scenic. Of the 6 or 8 RVs I saw, all but about one had Ontario license plates. The odd ball was Nebraska, as I recall.
They are slowly migrating back north from the American south. One of them told me in a few weeks, the place would be packed with RVs on the way back to Canada.
But in truth, the campground was only about a quarter full and we were able to spread out and find prime hammock spots.
And no, we did not get invited into any of the RVs to watch the NCAA basketball tournament, dang it. Radio reception was awful. But cell phone reception was just fine.
