Toolshed 03-18-2007, 20:28 Sheesh that's awful close to me. I should swing by tomorrow Dingus Khan 03-21-2007, 15:12 Hehe, just got about 8 yards of the stuff myself from the No. Dartmouth wallyworld in massachusetts. while being absolutely impenetrable to water and extremely tough, it is VERY heavy, approx 3.5 oz a yard!! It'll make a good pack liner, see it for miles around too! I am aware that some state parks require blaze orange to be worn during hunting (late fall-winter) seasons correct? This might be good to know for winter hikers... Toolshed 03-22-2007, 19:19 Saim... I ended up buyoing the whole bolt She measured it and got to 13 yards and there were still 4-5 twirls left on it and she said I'll give it all to you for $10. Now I need to learn how to sew. Wife has a Pfaff but she is too busy.... saimyoji 04-01-2007, 18:29 Saw some gray (1.1oz?) coated tafeta in the fabric bin this afternoon. Didn't look like much, but enough to sew a stuff sack or gear hammock..... ...I left it for ya. :D |
