baltimore jack tarlin and bfitz are at miss janets. bfitz will start his 2nd thruhike tommorow morning by slacking out and around erwin. im guessing with jack. he will go to springer in a few days or less. lucky bastard. lets see, we got lonewolf and jack and the dude and so so so many in this class. im so still jelouse. jack sounds like hes really happy and im glad. bfitz was on his way to shuttle some hikers and im really praying i make it out this year. i got alot to do if im gonna southbound. like get rich off my art quick. hey,.. it happens.im so ready to ditch civilization and hike but civilization wont let me go without a fight so im gonna wait and ambush the sucker later. this is my , " im gonna go hiking or die face"

this is the story of the dude and baltimore jack. they hit the pike and they aint commin back. by back i mean up, by trail i mean down, by trail like a rail theys a leavin town.there once was an old woman named janet. not the janet in our story, another one. our janets fun and our janets young. her house is our home till were back on the run. traveling trails and ******* on rails. red white and blueblazing till sundown and lazing. back to miss janets we go, maby ill catch a show. where baltimore jack is a baby and the dude is his dad, how sad. but this weird poem has gone wrong, too far and too long. so ill say get the fuch out and be done with out a doubt.

Yep, I'm with StarLyte - it is a most BEAUTIFUL day here in northeast Ohio and this anybody is feeling GREAT.
:sun is out, birds are chirpping, and I only have 5 days more of work before I'm on the trial.
Get yer a$$es out there and hike boys....Drank a fifth of tequila and went hiking with my old hiking buddy Bodhi, who I haven't seen or heard from since we sumitted Katahdin together in 2003, and who unexpectedly walked into Janet's just as I was gettin ready to go. This is a good omen. Great way to start a thru-hike...a slack in Erwin!

Had a fantastic time at the april fool's bash. Was able to put faces with names on here which is always a good thing :) Lots of great food and great music too. Thanks to Ron and Crutch and everyone else that helped put this party on.
OH and I meant to say what a great send-off for Bfitz. He was having a very marvelous time when I saw him.

the matfro. or afromat. witchever term is used, describs the doo i make to scare small children. did it at miss janets house last thanksgiving to a reseptive audience of preteens. i shaved my head last year at the end of my hike in parisburg va. havent cut it since and wont till i start another hike.and heres a shot after tameing with h2o.whats all this have to do with bfitz and bjack? nothing. but since its raining and there wet for the first time, i thaught a little humer might be in order as they slog.

oh yeah, almost forgot to mention,.. this is a prototype iv been developing in my slave labor staffed laboratory under my apartment in the sewers. of a communications devise for the future when the satalights get fryed by the flares of 2012.
Spring fever is really killing me this year. I cannot wait for the snows to melt and hit the trail. To all my friends that will be passing through this year, the spare bedroom is set up for hiker trash, lots of flat shaded camping, inground pool, tennis and basketball court located in North Woodstock, NH. Not to mention a great deck to hang out on with a view of the whites. Obviously I will be spending alot of time in the whites this year. To the dude, mathewski, Jack, Wonderfoot, I cannot wait until we are all together once again. Happy hiking boyz and girlz.

as a child of 8 or 9 i played a game at night sometimes. i would pretend a half dozen grey type aliens were operating on me. they would tell me to keep my eyes shut and then theyed remove a leg or an eye and take it thru the woods behind my house to their ship where they would improve it and give it bionic powers and then return it to me to see how it worked to improve the human body. later when i read about the abduction idiots, i figured they played the same imaginary games. i know they did. there are no aliens. just jesus. and hes not grey. hes either red white yellow or black.of this im sure. keep hiking.

just got off the phone with bfitz. hes returning to the trail monday or there abouts. i learned all about baltimore jack tarlin's cooking and his freash pork with green pepers and onions. he has a spice bag that cannot be rivaled. each night the other hikers gather round jacks kitchen and auction off the fumes. a front row seat goes for two snickers. and bfitz gets the leavings of the giant. hes like the golden goose boy. and hes romanticly involving himself in female hikers hikes. cant give names and they change so fast it would be old news. basicly the dude's like a don juon of the trail.and jacks like the galloping gourmet. these guys are having the hikes of two lifetimes. there really doing the trail in there own way. like gorging hounds. they both have 20's under there blub allready. i will report live from traildays on the duo.

dude makes a good brother. me and miss janet are postulating a hypothosis as to what a bfits dude is. is it an unfeeling blob of inconciderateness that has the propertys of both attraction and repulltion? if so , our scientists, working from my basement lab, hope to layer the dude between two sheets of alloy to make some sort of propulltion engine. they surmise they would loose the prototype if succesfull because bfitz would simply shoot off into space forever on a tragectory away from earth.another working theory is that the dude is actually made up of billions of individual bits of evily embodyded evil and that his real name may be "we are legion". if this is the case, our scientists will hope to remove the evil by passing a highly positivly charged group of electronuron hiker particals over his brain and body. in this senario the resulting un evil dudeparticals would possibly contain new and exciting discoverys in the feild of good vibe production witch as most know has been on the decline worldwide. the dude is being kept at erwin universitys department of miss janets house reaserch station .wed morning , after a night of inbibing the dude with highy charged janet dinner party particals, the dude will be transported to trail days and releaced into a natural setting for the first time during these exsperoments. scientists hope to study the effects of geneticaly transplanted good vibes into an evil system and their effects on a highly charged good vibe enviroment. they belive one single partical of this hybred bfitz may catalize the naturaly occuring good vibes at trail days possibly giving birth to a whole new janera of happyness.

They DID NOT hike yesterday. They DROVE to a swimming hole and spent many hours as tadpoles. They built up an appetite then off they went to the big Chinese buffet. Then they went to Partnership shelter to meet Bag-O-Tricks and eat pizza
