Hey gang, just a quick note to say hey and that all is well. I'm in Gatlinburg with 2 buddies, Donny Keyhote, and Finnigan, stayed at the Grand Prix last night after Trail Majic and a ride from Papa Smurf AND Big Red!!! Thanks guys!
The Trail is being pretty kind to me, and the weather has been outstanding. Hope all is well with you all, and see you at Trail Days if not before. We are all open to slack-packing should any of you need to get out of thehouse and off the computer for a while....:D

LW, looks like u (nor Willie or Pirate) will not get a chance to "corrupt" this hiker, i.e., set him on the blue-blaze path. It sounds like he has the Baltimore Jack thirst for slackpacking...

Got a chance to say hey again from Standing Bear. For those of you that promised this Florida boy snow in the Smokies, you were right on!!! Got dumped on last night. Luckily we got shelter space. The cold pushed the limits of my sleeping bag/liner however. Hope it warms up now that the AWESOME Smokies are behind us! I'm still having a ball, saftey committee meeting and all!!! ;)

Calling for colder temps there tonight than last night. Record lows for dates. Supposed to be down to about 20 in Charlotte tonight. Be careful and stay warm. BRrrrr.
