The GATC info line had a call from a guy who picked up 2 AT thrus who said they were from GA. He gave them a ride one day in the last week or so. One of the hikers left a personal possession in the car. PM me if you know the hikers and heard about them losing something during a hitch. If they can give me the hitch location and the item missing, I'll put them in touch with the driver. The ride was north of GA, but I won't say where. He didn't get trail names or any other info.
Please, no guessing. The driver was honest enough to track down a number for the GATC and went to the trouble to call, lets be honest, too.
