What are you people doing to improve the taste of Aquamira treated water?

How much are you adding? I do not taste any when I add 7 drops. I only taste it with 14. You could add some gatoraid or drink flavoring to it.
Given Cincinnati probibly puts a lot of chorline in there water, so I may be used to the taste.

My experience jives with Hammock's. At 7 drops per liter it tastes like city tap water. If the taste bothers you, you can always try reducing the dosage and increasing the wait time.
When it comes to adding flavorants to the water, just remember to wait until after the wait time to add them, lest the chemicals in the drink mix interfere with the AM's disinfecting action.
Well, I hate tap water. I drink distilled water most of the time. But the Gatorade idea sounds good. I'll try that.

I've always preferred iodine to anything chlorine-based. The taste isn't a factor, but if you don't like the iodine taste, add anything with Vitamin C (citric acid -- tang, gatorade, emergenC) -- AFTER waiting the appropriate time -- to neutralize the iodine and kill the iodine taste. Just rinse thoroughly before treating with iodine again or you'll neutralize your iodine before it gets a chance to work.

I use the drink mix packets and make lemonade in my water. Countrytime makes a yummy Lemonade mix. Also Make hot chocolate or Milk form powdered milk. Though personally I grew up with a swimming pool in the back yard and NOTHING is as bad as choking on that water daily! I only considered the AM strong when doubling the recommended dose for some murky water with floaties. And then it just tasted like pool water! ;)

It makes your water taste good & it weighs almost nothing & comes in small individual packets.
Only down side is that is has no calories :-(

The country time brand has about 90 calories for 16oz which is one mix packet. ;) Thats why I like it. Sugar makes a drink yummy! ;)
