Stats on theft - two backpacks reported to the police, but maybe three others stolen but not reported; three cameras; one wallet; and most alarming in terms of cost, three pickup trucks, including two Toyota extended-cab trucks and a GMC. The car-theft ring operating in this area hit us hard this past weekend. Ironically, this ring would have been broken a year ago, but a conflict among law enforcement agencies compromised the informant, and the bust took place a few hours after the garage had been vacated.
Trail Days committee meetings are the first Tuesday in each month. Everyone on whiteblaze is invited, but I don't think our town hall would hold all of you.
