okay, so here's is my dilemma. should i get the MH PCT 2 or the limelight 2, i can't find a foot print for the PCT 2, but that's not to hard to rememedy, and it is on sale, but the limelight 2 is free-standing, but weighs slightly more... has anyone had any experience with either of these (especially the PCT 2) who could share some insight? much appreciated

I have a PCT 2....Actually a PCT 1.5!! If your getting it for 2 people it is very....well lets say I hope you like the one your with!
It's scaled back for the weight savings as well as the size but I like mine. I do get a little condensation in the winter at the foot end but nothing major. I have not used it yet in a bad storm but for the trips I have done where it has rained I stayed dry.
Overall I like it. I do not know anything on the other tent you have mentioned.

actually i am getting it mainly for myself because i can get claustrophobic when a tent is too small (oddly enough i like tight-ish sleeping bags though, weird i know) thanks for the insight. does anybody have any experience with the pct in the oh so cold rain and snow?
