yes...I have a webpage and eventually I'll add the paypal link to make scheduling and paying for shuttles easier. I'm still working on it. Bear with me!

I live in Narrows, VA, near where the AT crosses the New River on rt 460 in Giles County. I've listed my service with the AT conference's website and I have aposter at the Holiday Motor Lodge too. You can call me, 540-726-2983 and schedule a ride into Blacksburg to go gear-shoe shopping $50 round trip, including my expert fitting advice (in case the saleman is lazy bum) $75 to get tot he Roanoke Regional Airport if you need to get off the trail for a family emergency or whatever, or to be picked up and set back on the trail after your brother's big wedding...hahahaha!

I know all the major trail headings in Bland, Giles, Craig and Roanoke Counties, plus I've hiked nearly all those miles with my family. I'm a terminal day hiker! I got a bad back, so humping 40+ pounds of gear ain't gonna happen, but I love the outdoors, blogging and helping others live their dream of outdoor adventure vacations or major thru-hikes.

Let me know if I can help you in your journey!

Kathy

I'm looking to hike with my brother & nephew. They have never been on the trail and we are planning on going from Kimberling Creek / Rt.606 to Pearisburg. Do you know of a safe place for my vehicle to be parked in Pearisburg and be transported to the trailhead? What is you fee for all 3 of us?

Kathy,

Like your site, best wishes from a fellow shuttler further north in VA (tho I've kinda retired from most of the driving so I can be the one answering the phone and setting up shuttles for a friend)!

It's a rewarding endeavor but unfortunately you can't keep doing it unless you're charging enough to pay all the bills and then some. If you have the proper commercial insurance you know what I mean. (And if you don't, and you have financial assets, you should!)

BTW, your photo is covering up most of your contact info.

Glad to see one of my favorite ads on your site—Sirius Satellite Radio. We have it in all of our shuttle vehicles!
