Any hikers in the area? On July 4th and maybe 5th, myself and some friends will be at The Hemlocks shelter in Massachusetts, serving Hot Dogs, Tofu pups, and sodas. We're doing it at the Hemlocks because it's 1/2 mile from a parking lot and that's about as far as I can make it on my leg, and also because there is another shelter just a few hundred yards down (Glenny Brook), should anybody want some peace and quiet.
So hike on in and join the fun. To all those who can't make it, have a great independence day!
