I've been off the trail for about a month due to a medical problem. I want to start back up anywhere South of Harper's Ferry that is less vertically challenging than some of the areas in the Smokies and NC/GA/TN.

I'm looking for an approximately 100 mile stretch of trail that will give me a chance to rebuild my trail legs before I go up North in August or so.

All suggestions are welcome!

Shenendoah NP is considered the easiest part of the AT. Fairly flat, lots of access, yogi'ing possibilites galore, and about 100 miles long. Perhaps you could finish it up at Rusty's and give us an update on life there. enjoy!

Thanks a lot! I hear the views are pretty nice as well.

I agree, Shenandoah's your best bet. Lots of bears this year!
