View Full Version : FF Thompson Peak, $20 off!!
Wow, I was just looking at the pepsi can stoves over a antigravitygear.com and decided to see what they have in their Bargain Basement (http://www.antigravitygear.com/products.php?cat=67). Well, they have a limited selection of FF Thompson Peak bags (w/o hip belt) for $49.00. They only have two sizes and the colors are even more limiting but for $49.00, what a deal. I have a really long torso (25") otherwise, I'd be grabbing a large.

I tottally bought this pack!! I found it the same way - I was stoked to be doing an ultralight hike and find such a cheap pack - but it freaked me out when I got it. I've never done any lightweight hiking, most of my travels have been traveling across country with a 40 lb. Deuter pack. At first I regretted getting it because I saw how simple it was...but it just forces me to go lighter and more inginuative with gear. Someone on here told me to really respect the weight limit in that pack...so be committed to 20 lbs or less if you're going to get it! EEE!!!:(:o

No belt and mine is brand new never used. I got two and never used one.
I just ordered my FF TP (Blue/Black, XL, no hip) direct from FF. Wish I could have taken Bear's or Mike's but I'm a big boy.. no way would a medium fit me.
I also just ordered my first quilt, but that's off topic for this thread. :)

Should of ordered a quilt from me. I don't have any for sale yet but I am in the process. Did you see my thread on my Momentum 10 oz. 40* quilt?

I must have missed your thread. I didn't realize you are in the process of making gear. I needed something in time for a Sept. 1 trip and don't like waiting til the last minute especially in the middle of summer when a lot of small custom shops are closed up or real low on inventory.
Are you making tarps? ;) I need a tarp.
