Parking on Rt 9 in Bennington, VT

Anyone know what the overnight parking situation is at the Rt 9 Waypoint? I'll be approaching from Bennington and wanted to know what to look for.

Parking is on left hand side of the road about 5 miles outside of town. There's a ped crossing sign and a turn around on the right just as you pass the parking lot and before you head up the mountain.

There were notes about cars being vandalized there recently.

I've parked there hundreds of times, sometimes for more than a week. Never had a problem. It helps to drive a rat bag car.
