We seem to be getting together at Fletcher's Pizza in Donnelson, TN about every other month to talk about hiking, hammocking, and whatever other related topics come up. This time we will meet around 6pm on Thursday, September 20. Donnelson is part of Nashville, TN. For directions, pm me or neo or ewker or Rain Man. Bring cash since Fletcher's doesn't take plastic. There is an ATM on the premisis, but it wasn't working last time we were there and a couple of folks had to make money runs to local banks.

Ewker...please send reminders to me for this every so often till then if you don't mind. The 70's and 80's seem to be having a belated toll on my last two brain cells. Thanks.

Looks as if I can be there this time around... though someone might have to send me directions again, rather than ask me for them. LOL

Ewker, would that be a good time to swap my book?

Can someone post the name of the pizza place along with the street address?

Some folks may want to MapQuest directions.

I plan to be there! Six o'clock, correct?

Yes, 6 pm. I tried to get a street address, but it didn't list the address in yellowpages.com. It is just off Lebannon road, and the city name is Donelson (I think I mis-spelled it before).

neo: hiker trash, hammocking trash, whatever. Maybe we can lure even more of 'them' to the dark side.

Okay, lazy me finally got off my butt and looked it up in the white pages, so here's the info for anyone wanting to MapQuest it.

Fletcher's Pizza
2715 Old Lebanon Pike
Nashville, TN 37214
phone 615-883-1844

I called and they described themselves as "in Donelson Plaza, next to Two Rivers Ford."

See y'all there tomorrow (Thursday) evening around 6:00!

I may bring my new Speer Snugfit underquilt for folks to look at if they want. Not that I'm trying to lure anyone to the dark side. Really. I'm just sayin'...

**shadowmoss gags neo to shut him up about the Master Plan**

Rain Man, thanks for adding the detail information. I'm a bit busy lately with the new job and all. I'll be driving down from Clarksville, where I'm working now. Don't wait the ordering of the pizza for me if I'm a bit late.

**shadowmoss wonders if this will work into a good yogi-ing practice session**

**shadowmoss remembers she yogi-ed Rain Man and Ewker's pizza last time he was there**

Remember, Fletcher's doesn't take plastic, so bring cash.

Hey everyone!

New person here on Whiteblaze, in White House, TN, work in Nashville, and am in the midst of the tent vs hammock decision.... Am leaning towards the hammock route, but need to put my hands on one and see it up close and in person.

Used to work out at a place called TNN, and Fletcher's was one of our hangouts for lunch....

So when is the next assimilation (oops!) get together?

Once you get the hang of hanging, you'll never want to be a grounder again. I was with SGT Rock and family over the weekend, and they had 4 hammocks up. It was a trip to see a little-kid head pop out of an adventure racer first thing in the AM. My 3rd hammock is in the mail right now. I'm about to have a Hennessy Expedition Asym available for sale, if you're interested, with Cinch Buckles (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=565) already installed.

Hey Nightwalker, thanks for the update.... The Expedition is a good looking hammock, but I'm a little on the larger size... 6'6" and about 285 lbs....
