I'm going on a trip this weekend. We were going to go out of Damascus, changed our route to Paerisburg(sp?)/Bluff City/Narrows VA area. Does anyone know of a good place to park your car there?

I've left my car at the Rendezvous Motel in Pearisburg and had the owners shuttle me. Per the Companion (http://www.aldha.org/companyn/va07.pdf):

The Trail passes very close to the Rendezvous, much closer than downtown.

I don't remember - it was early April 2005 and they drove me to Craig Creek Valley where I started a 3 day SOBO (http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=92490). I think about $1/mile but why don't you call and ask them?

Absolutely talk to Brenda at the Rendezvous. A very great lady who's been helping hikers for many, many years.
