Employee's wife

At the council meeting we were invited to take a fresh look at the town's website. Richard (Local) is doing a very fine job as webmaster, BTW. I noticed Wolf listed as having a shuttle service. I sent an email to town hall on another matter and briefly inquired if Wolf had a business license. I was told to call the town treasurer. I told Mr Pafford that I saw Wolf listed on the town's website, and asked if he had a business license. He seemed very confused about the question. He kept repeating that this was a free listing, not a paid ad. Said he could not remove the name. I told him 10 times that my inquiry had nothing to do with the website, except that is where I saw the listing, and that I don't care who is listed. I told him to list me if he wanted. Finally, he said that Wolf did not need a license since he does not charge for his shuttles - he does them for free. Cool, fine, no problem. The end.
At no time did I complain because Wolf did not pay to be listed nor was I fighting any battles for MRO. Tom did not know a thing about this until he got home from work. Like me, Tom is capable of fighting his own battles. Had Wolf or Richard simply asked me about the matter, they could have channeled all this negativity into something more constructive.
Another fact: No one in our family is racist or Anti-Semitic, sadly, we do have some yuppy types on both sides. Like us, most of the family falls on the side of red necks. Have you seen Tom's truck?
Wolf, I mean this sincerely on this day to honor our veterans - thank you.
