I know what you're thinking, "Another alcohol stove design"

This one is just a copy of another design but lighter and smaller. It's a simple copy of the Hike-n-lite stove but I made this one from a small tin container that I found in a convenient store.

Check out the web page here (http://www.cloudwalkersbasecamp.com/tin_stove.html)

A short video can be found here (http://www.cloudwalkersbasecamp.com/tin_stove_cf.wmv)

What diameter are the holes and what did you use for a priming pan?

I'm not sure what size the holes are, but they are not as small as I would like them to be. I think they are letting too much vaporized fuel leak through the holes because I only got an 8 minute burn time using 1.5 oz. of fuel.

The primer pan is an unused can lid from the cannery at the prison that I work at. I found a stack of them in the garbage not too long ago.

Yep holes to big use a push pin and only 16 holes the cover good idea for prime thats what i use most of the time. On 1/2 oz. alcohol 15ml the burn time should get 6 to 7 burn time or more and boil 16 oz water Use a 6 to 8 in. round pot alum. with cover.
