That's www.owfinc.com (http://www.owfinc.com).
gortex is nice waterproof (most everything else is water ressistant) and yet very breathable. what Ideas do you have?
Another source is surplus army bivies made of Goretex. They are sometimes cheaper that the material itself. I have one which is great as a bivy but heavy, and as I always use as blue foam pad I have been thinking of cutting it down and just using it over the sleeping bag. I want to see how it works for this compared to tyvek. Also thinking of turning it into a heavy rain cape/bivy. I'm not sure what else it is for as it is heavy. Mukluk uppers maybe.

skar578,
I wanted to make a smallish back pack for hunting. It may get wet so I wanted to use goretex. I wanted to make my own so I can customize the pockets to what I want to carry. Also wanted to make a waterproof shell for outdoor wear.
nice. I like epic fabric (owfinc.com). 1 layer, highly water resistand, and breathable.
for the vag it doesnt need to be breathable. silnylon works just as well.
