You must not be in the same Maryland that I just got back from. Last week it was lows in the single didgits and higs in the low 20's with anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow on the ground. As I recall this I think I am going to make myself some hot tea.

That means it only has to drop another 20 degrees before the Girl Scouts start to sell cookies in Wyoming. I recall going to a "Border War" game there in Laramie years back. I got a hot coco at halftime in a insulated UW mug and by 4th quarter it had ice crystals in it.

It will all change by the weekend - including a wintry mess, supposedly, in the mid Atlantic region. But I know what you mean.

Sorry Partinj, I think I'm going to have to leave my hand down on this one, I'll wait till spring to start a thru. But in the meantime a shorter hike always souds good, regardless of weather.:sun

Nearly Normal

It was 80 today in the lowcountry. Not normal even here.
Dryyyyyyyyyyyyy.
If we don't start getting some rain in the southeast it's going to be a dust bowel or the newest desert.

Small chance of rain coming for NC and SC. We are at 60 days of water left here in Orange County. The lakes are awful.
So still thinking of that start? Coming up out of GA will be dry dry dry.
