Parking question

I am planning an 80 mile hike in July from Bluemont,VA to Caledonia State Park in Pennsylvania. I know that there is little problem leaving a car at Caledonia, but does anybody know if there is available parking at Bluemont. If there is room to leave a car there for a week, any concerns/safety issues? Is there a better location to leave my car or maybe a different section to hike? Thanks

Bears den hostel is just south of RT 7 and you could probably park there for a fee. There is a public parking lot on the north side of RT 7 but I don't know about how safe that would be overnight.
