I stayed at Standing Bear on December 12, still open and hospitable as always. Sure you have the right number? It's on the website.

Curtis does Convention Setup jobs during this time of year, so he may not be around much. However, if you go there, just make yourself at home and he or Maria will eventually show up.

Sweet, I guess I won't have to change my plans then.
The hostel was open and he gave us a shuttle Dec 16.
