Quick question.....If I was looking online for silk to make a homemade silk liners for a bag, what type of silk should I be looking for? I am looking and running into several different kinds. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can go in person, that's what I'd suggest.
I went into a huge fabric store in Portland, OR and headed to their bridal section. I found the lightest weight 100% silk on the clearance section. It was almost gauze it was so thin. All I did was unfold it to see if it was long enough and wide enough for me and had them hack that section off the bolt of fabric. I think I paid $15. It was perfect! No hemming, no sewing, nothing.
It's super light and yet still adds about 5 degress to my bag. And for cold nights where your nose gets really cold but you don't want to breath condensation into your sleeping bag, it's great to pull over your face.
