Now that there are several google-like AT trail maps available on the net, I've often wanted to copy and print images, but right clicking has not brought up a copy command. A friend told me that if you hold down the Ctrl (control) key, then press the Prt Scr (print screen) key, the image on your screen will be copied to your computer clipboard. you can then right click and past into the program of your choice, and crop to the image you want. I apologize if this doesn't work for you or is common knowledge... for me? it made my day.

While I have not done this with maps, but I am able to save any screen image I want by pressing the “print screen” key and then going to Microsoft paint (start/ programs / accessories/ Paint) and then going to edit and paste an the top bar. You will have to resize the image to full size, then either save image (name it) or just print it.

The reason you can’t directly print it (I think) is because of copyright issues and this seems to be a way of preventing people from doing it.
