View Full Version : Best beard on the AT?
I think we need to add this contest to this year's talent and best trail dog competition.
Inspiration taken from the world beard and moustache championships.
http://www.worldbeardchampionships.com/
Post a list of submissions with pictures and I will post a preliminary poll in a week or so.
Think you have what it takes to go international?
Here is the current champion.
Got something special?

Personally, if I had to vote for something best on the AT, it wouldn't be beards! ;)
Alas, it is not the AT..but this photo shows why I shaved off my beard before crossing back into the US. :)

Not on the AT, but thats only a 4 monther with some minor trimmings (and I was less face hairy then....)
More than just a beard, I think I also have the best "Most likely to be picked up by authorities when crossing a border" look.
(I have to lobby for the win afterall)

My above beard got me searched at least twice at each checkpoint when I would fly.
Got me pulled over me.
And it also allowed me to hoodwink people into believing that I was Amish

Always good to have goals #6

OK ...I'll buy that. Speaking of which - - in 2003 we had quite a bit of rain and for a while I had a hyroponic garden going in my beard. I think one of the cash crops was the dingleberry !!

Santa's Little Helper's beard was cool.
LW's is cool.
But Peter Griffin's beard with a nesting bird takes it.

Its a tie in the preliminaries, the goat and the livestock..... Any chalengers???
I vote for myself, I've got the best peachy fuzz there is! In fact all the hiker babes want to run their hands thru my beard when they get near me, it's what turns them on when they are near me. I know, just ask me. I even saw it in Wonders eyes the other night when I was talking to her. And then when I was at Hooters in Nashville with Lil Red, you should have seen her eyes sparkling. It was the beard.
I know I have what it takes, and it's the beard!
The hiker babes were probably just wiping off there hands after their morning privy visit.......

Next time you see Many Sleeps (the Springer Caretaker), ask him about how he inadvertantly won the "Best Beard in Alaska" contest. He didn't even know he was entering. . . . . .
