Tobasco stopped in last night to use the phone and is trying to catch up with Sgt. Rock..............
that ain't gonna happen. Rock will be at partnership shelter tonite
I only wish it was me hiking out there.
I met Tobasco at SoRuck this year. He came with the group from Cloud 9 hostel if I remember correctly. He's a real nice guy with one heck of a hiker's appetite and a tolerance for hot foods (he ate chipotle puree straight up on tortilla chips).
This Tabasco actually goes by Avery Island on here. He just joined this site yesterday. Anyway he says he ran into Rock down around Iron Mt Shelter a week back or so. I think that's where he said he ran into him?

If it's who I think it is, they actually first ran into each other in Erwin at Uncle Johnny's.

Your right Dixi. He made it to Beauty Spot the next night at 11 PM. He likes to hike at night. He showed up at Overmountain at 1 AM. He might have to lighten his pack if he wants to catch Sarge.

Howdy Tabasco! I just ran into you at Thomas Knob on March 7th. I was with the party of 6 (I was the big guy that was hurting) from Ohio that took an early exit (thanks to your guidance, we made it to the Virginia 600 highway). Best of luck to you on the rest of your journey!
